Chief
Chief came to us in bad shape.... he had been abandoned and when we picked him up he was very matted and smelly. Turns out he had Lyme's disease and kidney problems. I'm happy to say he stayed in my care for what I'm sure were a great 5 months for him. Hey may have been grumpy and tired, but we loved him. He doesn't hurt any more and is probably pleased with himself that he managed to steal a sandwich in his last evening...
Gramps
Sadly, our Gramps went to the Rainbow Bridge.
Gramps was found in an Animal Control awaiting the green mile when fortunately a loving person saw him and called us. We couldn't let him spend his retirement in a shelter, he needed love, and that is just what he has now. He was in terrible shape, matted everywhere, horrible teeth, and icky eyes.
